1R-0719 hydraulic oil filter

The Caterpillar 1R-0719 hydraulic oil filter is a standard-efficiency cartridge-type filter designed for use in hydraulic and transmission systems of heavy-duty Caterpillar equipment.

It works as a critical part of the machine’s hydraulic system by removing dirt, metal particles, and other contaminants from hydraulic oil, helping to protect pumps, valves, cylinders, and other sensitive components from wear and failure.

The filter uses a replaceable cartridge element housed inside a filter canister. Oil flows through the filter media (typically cellulose-based), which traps fine particles—often down to around 10 microns—before the cleaned oil returns to the hydraulic system.
