A grease gun nozzle is manufactured as a precision attachment designed to connect a grease gun to grease fittings and deliver lubricant under high pressure.
Production typically begins with high-strength steel or brass stock, which is machined into the required nozzle shape using CNC turning and drilling processes. Key internal passages are precisely bored to ensure smooth grease flow without blockage or pressure loss. The locking mechanism—often a hardened steel claw or jaw system—is manufactured separately and fitted to allow a secure grip on grease nipples during operation.
After machining, components undergo heat treatment (where applicable) to improve wear resistance, followed by surface finishing such as nickel plating, zinc plating, or chrome coating to prevent corrosion and extend service life in harsh working environments.
Rubber seals or O-rings are installed to ensure a leak-proof connection under high pressure. Final assembly includes spring-loaded locking parts and connection threads compatible with standard grease guns.
Each nozzle is then tested for pressure resistance, sealing performance, and mechanical locking strength before being approved for packaging and distribution.
